Following weeks of teasing and tempting his devoted fans, ex-Beatle and septuagenarian James Paul McCartney, better known as Paul McCartney, has announced the release of his eighteenth solo album, McCartney III.
Though not much is known about the album so far, it is understood that McCartney III will follow the pattern of his previous albums, McCartney I and McCartney II. Released in 1970 and 1980 respectively, McCartney III will follow the same pattern as they did; in that they are recorded, produced and featuring only the genius of Sir Paul McCartney. In keeping with the family theme of the first two; the photography for the new album has been done by Paul’s daughter, photographer Mary McCartney, and also his nephew, Sonny McCartney – his first wife, Linda McCartney, who had previously taken the photographs for McCartney I and II died of breast cancer in 1998.
The release date is set at December 11th 2020.
