34+35 is the second single of the Grammy winner’s latest album, Positions, which came out on Oct. 30, following the title track.
The video starts with her in brown outfit paired with high knee bots with her iconic ponytail sitting in front of a black circle backdrop.
The video is set in a laboratory as Ariana is a scientist (not your typical scientist) as them shoes wouldn’t be safe to wear in a lab of course and a long white lab coat. The songs lyrics are very sultry which gives a new look to Ariana’s direction of music. The video is Ariana being seen as working hard in the lab and writing instructions down and listing off instructions to her ‘team’. Then approaching a piece of machinery before pushing the button. Her vocals are sultry and perfect.
Ariana is seen then looking at the operation table whilst she is also on the operation table being electrocuted of some sort and then the scientist Ariana is trying to work out what to do. She then uses different methods in how to fix this issue and get her to safety.
Towards the end of the video, Ariana is seen wearing a pink fluffy dress with other girls matching Ariana. How she does a split in heels, gal teach me. At the end of the video, you can catch the glimpse of behind the scenes of the video whilst she is laying on top of the operation table and everyone joking around.
The video is very artistic and perfect in terms of the lyrics and the singing voice that Ariana is portraying. The outfits are amazing and the way the hair is done is 10/10.
Ariana’s makeup is so beautiful and really reflects the video. I really enjoyed this video as it was so creative and a fun video.
